Halloween Launch For Olde Towne Market

October 20, 2010

The Old Towne Market will launch in St George’s on Halloween – Sunday, October 31st – running from 2pm to 6pm. The markets, which will run every Sunday until December 19th, will feature vendors selling fresh produce, fish, arts and crafts and more. Additional vendors are welcome to sign up, please call 296-6185 for further information.

Organizers are aiming to assist in rejuvenating the east end, which has been suffering a decline in buisness. They say the Olde Town Market will be “bringing back an old European style street market of yesteryear, with the products you want today.” The flyer is below:

Oh my……I am so looking forward to this. Is this where the Mayor et al have a re-inactment of the god ship Lolly Brown ……

I heard, DOT is sponsering a replica of the Sea Brown ( Governemnt spokesperson wont’t speak or answer calls) but my questions were not answered. Leaving? Running aground? Stranded? Removed from island? Sunk at sea as toxic waste?….Sent back too maker?……………..

    I need a rum…………………….
