Bermuda School Sports Website Launched
With the help of Digicel, Islandstats.com has launched a new website to highlight the sporting achievements and participation of Bermuda’s young people. Bermuda School Sports Federation Ltd covers the full range of sports of all ages and genders of the island’s students.
With up-to-the minute results and statistics, as well as comprehensive photo galleries, www.islandstats.com/bssf will be highlighting and promoting young athletes on the island, giving them and their family a dedicated service.
Islandstats COO Earl Basden said today “Promoting sports has always been a passion of mine, and in particular promoting the youth who are our future – on and off the field. As a father of two young boys, I am also personally keen to see that Bermuda’s young people are encouraged away from some of the negative aspects of our community, and to positive ones which include sports of all genres”.
Mr. Basden concluded by saying “I hope the young people like having their “very own” media outlet where their achievements will be highlighted”.
