Accident Report: Two Collisions

Around 9:40am yesterday morning (Dec 31) Police and first responders attended an accident at the junction of Mangrove Bay Road and East Shore Road in Sandys involving a truck and an auxiliary cycle. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 34 year old Sandys man, complained of pain in the torso area and was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the truck, a 67 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured.

Meantime, at 2:27am that same day, Police attended another accident at the junction of North Shore Road and East Point Lane in Hamilton Parish also involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 18 year old Pembroke man, sustained bruising on his hands. The driver of the car, a 22 year old Devonshire man, was not injured.

All four vehicles were damaged in the collisions. Police inquires into both incidents are underway.
