Micah Franklin Wins Qualifier in Holland

Micah FranklinBermuda’s top junior squash player Micah Franklin, who is currently living and training in Holland, competed in the Dunlop Squash Circuit Event at Frans Otten Stadion in Amsterdam today [Jan 29].

He won the first of two qualifying matches when he defeated Sander Van Tour in five sets.

Franklin went down in the first set 12 – 10, before he bounced back to win the second set 11 – 6. hen then went down 2 sets to 1 when he went down 11 – 8 in the third set, however won the fourth set 11 – 6 and was up 3 – 0 in the fifth set when Sander van Tour retired hurt.
