Photos: A Look Back at the International 10K
Last weekend saw over 600 runners take to Bermuda’s roads to participate in the three events of the Bermuda Race Weekend. Kenya’s Shadrack Biwot successfully defended his Bermuda International 10K title when he ran away from the field Saturday [Jan 15], while Korene Hinds of Jamaica won the Female race.
Biwot crossed the line in a time of 30:28, while Phillip Lagat finished second in 30:58 and Kemsa Magersa was third in 30:59. Chris Estwanik was fourth overall clocking 31:08, while Sean Trott was fifth in 33:39. Hinds finished 6th overall in a time of 33:56, while Kenia Sinclair was the second female finisher in 8th place with a time of 34:27 and Rolanda Bell was 16th overall and the third female finisher.
