Photos: Marathon Weekend 10K Run And Walk

The Bermuda Marathon Weekend continued this morning [Jan 16] with the running of the Bermuda 10K Run and Walk taking place under windy and rainy weather conditions.

Jordan Chipangama won the 10K race with a time of 31:23 while Bermuda’s Lamont Marshall placed second clocking 31:46 and Nick Swimburn finished third recording a time of 31:48.

Faye Fullerton won the ladies title crossing the line with a time of 35:37. Charlotte Arter was the second female finisher with a time of 35:48 while Heather Kampf was the third female finisher clocking a time of 36:22.

Bermuda’s thirteen year old Ryan Outerbridge placed twentieth overall with a time of 39:07 making him the winner of the male 12-19 age category. Eighteen year old Katrina George from the United States won the female 12-19 age category with a time of 50:26 placing 162nd overall.

The 2016 Bermuda Marathon Weekend continues tomorrow with the Bermuda Marathon and Half Marathon with runners set to start from Front Street at 8.00am.
