Bermuda Win FEI World Dressage Challenge
[Updated with video] The Bermuda Equestrian team has won Group 10 of the 2011 FEI World Dressage Challenge. Bermuda competed against Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Cayman and Haiti to claim the win.
The competition took place at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street this weekend [Feb. 25], and Bermuda recorded a score of 195.966%, moving ahead of Trinidad & Tobago who scored 194.138%. Cayman Islands finished third with 192.43%, while Barbados finished 4th with 190.73% and Jamaica scored 190.075% to finish 5th.
Junior Ashley Gibbs & Landtango, recorded the highest scoring combination in Group 10, with a 68.534% score, while Jennifer Howard & Escudero scored 65.000%. Rebecca Carne & Limited Edition scored 62.432% and Dawn Fox scored 60.375%.
