Cooper Advances to Semis in Tennessee
Local tennis player Alex Cooper has advanced to the semi-finals of the Manker Pattern TC Winter Tennis Tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Playing in the Boy’s 18 Singles Division, Alex Cooper won his round of 16 match defeating Evan Watkins in straight sets 7 – 5, 7 – 6.
In his quarter-final match, he was taken to a third set tie-breaker before advancing. Cooper easily won the first set 6 – 2, but he went down in the second set 6 – 4. In the third and final set he was victorious winning 7 – 3.
