Rebecca Sharpe Wins Silver Medal in Canada

Day 2 of the Three-Day 2011 OUA Swimming Championships saw Bermudian swimmer Rebecca Sharpe standing on the podium. Ms Sharpe earned a silver medal when she finished second in the women’s 200 meter backstroke with a time of 2:15.12.

Ms Sharpe and her Toronto University Teammates ended Day Two in second place with 487.5 points, the University of Western Ontario continue to lead with 512.5 points and the University of McMaster is third with 401 points..

    Like Flora Duffy ,mentioned earlier , and all the other budding and talented youngsters in the news lately , Sam Stan etc , etc this is what you get when parents invest the time and kids make the effort through discipline and hard work.
