Bacardi Continues To Sponsor CADA Program
CADA – Encouraging Responsible Alcohol Behavior today [Mar.2] announced that Bacardi Limited would continue as the Lead Sponsor for the life saving, Let Us Drive service.
In making the announcement, CADA Chairman, Mr. Anthony Santucci, stated, “CADA, encouraging responsible alcohol behavior, is extremely pleased that Bacardi Limited will continue as the Lead Sponsor for the Let Us Drive program. Bacardi have been involved with the service since its inception and we are extremely grateful for their on-going support.”
Mr. Stewart Gurr, Managing Director of Bacardi said, “We are pleased to continue our support and Lead Sponsorship of Let Us Drive. We congratulate CADA on this important initiative and we know we are helping to make a difference in the lives of the people who use this service.”
Mr. Santucci concluded, “With the support of Bacardi, Let Us Drive has been able to take home more than 5,000 since May 2007. While we will never be able to quantify how many lives have been saved we do know that the service provides a viable alternative to drinking and driving.”
Let Us Drive is a free, late night taxi service that is available to the public on Friday nights. It is an alternative to drinking and driving and operates every Friday night between 3:15am and 3:45am from outside the LOM Building on Reid Street.
