Stay strong family. Everybody in the family including friends are praying for you.
I agree, SLOW DOWN!
I do hope he pulls through….at least if just to tell these other little children what he’s been through and to slow down.
Fight
Prayers are needed for him, his family & friends.
As you go through this very difficult time remember that he is in God’s hands now and be thankful in that he is safe there. Continue praying and may we ALL learn from this to be greatful for life and live every day as if it were our last. Both young and old please take care on our roads, and remember those who truly suffer in the end.
I pray for the young man, his family and friends during this hard time. I ppray he will pull through.. Unfortunately Bermudians young and old have the ‘not me syndrome’. They speed and/or drive while under the influence all while believing nothing will ever happen to them. I dont know that they will ever learn… I have seen it myself. I have lost friends to these roads and although some of us learned from it others didn’t and are still speeding and driving while drunk, saying ‘I know what I’m doing, I have done it before and nothing has ever happened to me, I drink and drive all the time, I know how to handle my car/bike, Im a skilla..’ It’s very sad..
But sometimes accidents happen when people are NOT drunk. In this case it was just a freak, unfortunate, horrible turn of events and we shouldn’t look at this accident as if it was a case of drinking and driving. We all just need to keep our heads up and hope that he pulls through.
he wasn’t drunk or anything, just one of those things, his reaction time was too slow and had to swerve out, unfortunately he hit something which made him injured. prayers to him and the family. but don’t link this to drink and drive because it’s incorrect
Moms encourage your children to slow down and be very careful. It may or may not be you, however there are those on our roads that aren’t paying attention. Unfortunately these days you have to look out for you and every body else making sure that you are safe. To this young mens family, I am praying that your love one makes a full recovery and that he would be able to speak to his generation and others about his experience and how it has changed his life for the better.
Bermuda it takes a whole village to raise a child and it takes a whole country to make our roads safer.
I was wondering if anyone has heard how this young man is doing?
Heidi, he is doing a lot better. He is awake and responsive although still unable to walk on his own or talk.
