Blackburn: Five Top Three Finishes in Pittsburgh
Bermudian swimmer Lisa Blackburn picked up five top three finishes – including two wins – at the AM Age Group Championships which took place March 11-13 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her results were: 1st 100 BR 1:06.83, 1st 200 BR 2:23.83, 2nd 200 IM 2:10.17, 3rd 50 FR 25.24 and 3rd 100 FR 53.31.
Ms Blackburn also competed in the Eastern Canadian Swimming Championships February 17-20th where her best placing was 12th in the 100 breastroke and was only 27/100ths above her national record. She will be travelling to Miami for a training camp on March 31st followed by the Eric Namesnik Grand Prix meet on April 8-10th.
