Dandy Town Go Down 3-0 In Trinidad

soc110209Dandy Town, the Bermuda Football Association’s Defending Premier Division Champions, have been knocked out of the CONCACAF Caribbean Champions Cup after going down 3-0 last night [Mar.19] to Trinidad’s Defence Force Team.

Defence Force walked away with a 3 – 0 victory and a 4 – 1 aggregate win to advance.

The two teams first met on March 10 in Bermuda, playing to a 1-1 draw at the BAA field.

The seven first-round winners advance to a second round of eight teams, including Puerto Rico, the winners of which will qualify for semifinals and a chance to claim one of three region’s berths in the 2011-2012 CONCACAF Champions League.
