Fantastic…Congrats;..You deserve this recognition and much more.I am impressed..!!!!
I bet you are impressed…..
Well Done.
Congratulations.
Credit is given where it is DESERVED.
And I sincerely agree that credit is owed to work as Premier & Minister of Finance.
God Bless
Can you explain exactly what was well done???
Was it the reinstatement of a dis-honest worker? Was it the reduction in the education budget?
Premier Cox got this award because we are living in a world were ignorance and stupidity reign.
Remember,in 2008 a few MILLION people voted for Sarah Palin so I would not place much stock in some of these “Mickey Mosue” awards.

Somebody help me understand something here. Premier Cox has presided as Finance Minister over the 5 worst years of Bermudas financial history. From owing virually nothing when she took over as Finance Minister must now owe more per capita than anywhere on earth! Interest must be around the $100,000 per day mark or approaching $1.50 each per day & she gets an award!!!!!!
Umm….What did the runners up do if our Paula Cox was chosen the best? That has to be a scary thought. Who sponsored this little shindig?
Damn! If she is the best, who else was nominated and what did they accomplish?
Someone failed to do their homework/research. Maybe the host organisation will help her pay OUR debts.
What ‘Honourable’ person would accept any award given such a dismal performance record?
From your comments, could it mean that the honeymoon is over ?! If i closed my eyes I could swear you all were talking about Ewart, and not the one you said would save us in October. To paraphrase the old song “What a difference 6 months makes…..”.
Hard to separate the two as she was his Finance Minister, for the duration of his reign, which means that her signature would have been required for a number of cabinet papers! Her performance has been dismal and far from deserving of any accolade. The woman is given way more credit than is deserved. Integrity and ethics would have dictated that she challenge her predecessor not become, in her words, ” a cog in the wheel”. Integrity and ethics would have dictated that if she found his actions reprehensible that she step down as his Finance Minister. Sorry, but she can’t have her cake and eat to.
Oh! But she is doing just that! and Col.Burch as well. its never about country, it’s just all about self.
Wonder if the minister of health could speak with our premier about the things he wants us to do in regard to maintaining our health?
Well done on recalibrating this award^^
I for one am pleased to see the Premier win this award. Many of us take the voting public’s committment to gender equality for granted, while other countries are still struggling to take female politicans seriously. That said, people like Sarah Palin aren’t helping the case.
