Upcoming: Bermuda College Play & Talent Show

1187221_stage_is_yoursThe Bermuda College ‘BC Players Drama Club’ will be performing on April 7th and 8th at City Hall, and have promised to deliver “two nights of explosive talent plus two plays under one majestic roof.”

In addition, an art gallery by Bermuda College students and alumni will be displayed in the lobby area.”

On April 7th, watch a talent pool of musicians, dancers, singers and more. Then, vote for your Favourite Four to go on to the final round on April 8th.

The final vote will be pooled and the winners will be chosen American Idol style, with industry judges: former Jay-z music producer – Shane Woodley, Up with People Alumni President (Bermuda) – Sloane Wilson, international reggae artist – Clinark Dill and the dancer, artist and poet Live Wires.

On each night, an original play will be performed by the BC Players Drama Club.

On Thursday night [Apr.7], meet the cast from the Famous play – a surprise delivery teaches Ricki a lesson about safe sex while he struggles to complete his play entry for the popular BMDS Famous for Fifteen Minutes competition.

On Friday night [Apr.8], witness a courtroom like no other as four young men share their heartfelt stories that lead to bad choices and sad results in The Gentlemen’s Game “Incarcerated, Frustrated and Victimized…”

Two-night ticket packages are sold at $25 for students and regular tickets $35. One night student tickets are $15 and regular tickets are $20.

A donation will be presented to Up with People to help aid twenty young aspiring local performers as they journey around the world to make their mark.
