Video: Business Bermuda 2010 Highlights
Business Bermuda — formerly the Bermuda International Business Association — celebrated highlights of its 2010 world-wide marketing activities with a video presentation at this week’s annual general meeting [Mar. 4].
Business Bermuda works with Bermuda-resident companies and the Bermuda Government to develop and promote Bermuda internationally as the off-shore financial services jurisdiction of choice.
Its goal is to attract international businesses to Bermuda. The collaborative efforts of Government and Business Bermuda members are intended to achieve real sustainable growth in foreign currency earnings, new business, and employment opportunities.
Among the Business Bermuda marketing events featured in the video were the Bermuda Financial Services Conference held in London in March, 2010 and a tour of the Arab Gulf States in October promoting the island as an attractive and viable alternative to Middle Eastern financial hubs.
