Video: BermudAir Leaves For First Flight
BermudAir has officially launched, with their inaugural flight taking off today [Sept 1] heading to Boston. The cabin crew for the flight included Isra Furbert, one of six Bermudians who have been hired as BermudAir flight attendants.
In addition to the Boston flights, the airline offers flights to the Westchester County Airport which located near New York City, and they will begin service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on September 22.
Minister of Transport Wayne Furbert said, “I was very proud to attend the inaugural flight of the first airline registered and operating out of Bermuda. I was pleased to meet one of the Bermudian flight attendants and wish all the staff and crew of BermudAir all the very best.”
