AM Best Upgrades Ratings of Wilton Re
A.M. Best Co.has upgraded the financial strength rating to A [Excellent] from A- [Excellent] and issuer credit ratings to “A” from “A-” for Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda Ltd. and its affiliates.
The rating upgrades reflect Wilton Re’s successful execution of its business plan, which has resulted in continued growth in earnings and operating efficiencies.
A.M. Best said they believe the company has sufficient resources and access to capital to continue its pattern of growth through in-force transactions where the competition is somewhat limited.
