Got Feedback? New National Health Plan Hotline

April 13, 2011

The Ministry of Health has launched a “hotline” for residents to provided feedback about the proposed National Health Plan [NHP].

The voicemail system allows callers to leave their feedback, comments and suggestions regarding the NHP for the Government’s consideration. It also has the option for residents to provide their name and contact information after the tone should they want to speak to a member of the Ministry directly, regarding the current NHP Consultation Paper.

Minister of Health Zane DeSilva said: “This is another way in which we are seeking to show the people of Bermuda that their Government is listening to them and that every voice counts. Public discussion is vital if we are to provide Bermuda with what it both wants and needs in terms of the future of healthcare in Bermuda.”

The hotline number is 278-4960. Alternatively, feedback can be sent in writing to the CEO of the Bermuda Health Council, Dr. Jennifer Attride-Stirling by April 30th 2011.
