Guilty Plea: Robbery & Firearm Charges
At this morning’s [Apr.1] Supreme Court arraignment session, Curtis Mallory, 21, pleaded guilty to two charges involving robbery and firearms. The first charge was that of committing a robbery on 2nd January 2011; the second charge was that of using a firearm whilst committing an indictable offence, the robbery detailed in count one.
Mr Mallory pleaded not guilty to a third attempted robbery charge and not guilty to a fourth charge of using a firearm in that attempted robbery. The Crown accepted the two not guilty pleas and asked that the two matters ‘lay on file’.
With presiding Justice Greaves’ assent, this was agreed and Mr Mallory was ordered to submit to a Social Inquiry Report, remain in custody, and re-appear on 2nd May 2011 for mention.

Ok I’m confused…. headline says a guilty plea although the story says he pleaded not guilty to the two charges…….
Although the story does say he plead not guilty to 2 of the charges, the first line of the story says “At this morning’s [Apr.1] Supreme Court arraignment session, Curtis Mallory, 21, pleaded guilty to two charges involving robbery and firearms.”
He had 4 in total, and pleaded guilty to 2 firearm/robbery charges, not guilty to 2.
