Somerset Trojans Win U/14 Knock Out Final
The Somerset Trojans are the BFA Under 14 Knock Out Champions after beating North Village Rams 3-2 this afternoon [Apr.17].
Just before the first half ended, Justin Donawa’s right footed shot from the edge of the box beat Detre Bell in goal for the North Village Rams to give the Somerset Trojans the 1 – 0 lead.
One minute into the second half Stafari Burrows doubled the Somerset Trojans lead when he scored from close range. Micah Perozzi pulled a goal back for the North Village Rams and one minute later the scores were level when Brandon Sousa scored. Burrows put the Somerset Trojans back in front when he beat the offside trap and scored to Bell’s left. Minutes later the referee blew the final whistle as the Somerset Trojans finished the season for the second time unbeaten.
