Bermuda Trio Compete At Indoor Nationals
Bermuda’s Miles Outerbridge won the bronze medal in the Boys 200 meters at the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston.
Competing for Montverde Academy, Outerbridge recorded a time of 21.14 seconds to finish third in the final at The TRACK at New Balance.
He also competed in the Boys 60 meters, advancing to the final and finishing seventh overall with a time of 6.81 seconds.
In the Girls 1600 meters Sprint Medley Relay Championship, Bermuda’s Arima Turner and Amaris Munya competed alongside teammates Jizelle Holland and Angelica Wolfe. The team finished 12th overall in 4:06.50, a result that ranks the Montverde squad 17th in the United States for the season.
Munya also competed in the Girls 800 meters Championship, recording a time of 2:22.93 in a field of more than 200 athletes.
