I wasn’t sure if i was reading this right……bodily harm on a 2 year old. Understaanding that we try and protect the child so names can be entered in this case. Im disturbed and outraged that a mother has allegedly cinflicted injury on her 2 year old. This is a child that is just in the stages of knowing right from wrong. The is a child who is developing knowledge. No matter if the child is a boy or girl, in the end they may grow and think its okay to hit, bully, or treat people with no respect. This is why some of our children are acting out today, because of the mistakes that parents have made. Im not saying that this is the true cause or blame, but i would say 3% of children who grow up, have bullied, slept or treated a peer with total disrespect. They get it from the home, they see it in the home, and tv is not all to blame. I hope this young individual has to take parenting classes as community service, also maybe visit some rest homes to help out with elderly care. Becuase in the end, there children will be the ones to look after them when they get up in age. And lets hope they never do it again.

    @ Observer .. You make a valid point .

For how long and how often have we seen ‘mamma’ holding her two + year old and he hits and slaps his mother. All the girls sqeal with delight and mamma says ‘ He’s jus like his deddy’ …to more laughter.
BUT the child is never corrected … guess what they do now that they’re grown up ?

I find it so funny that everybody has something to say about this case without any information…smh. Guilty until proven innocent, I suppose.

    • Terry says:

Well T. Walker you said something but I can’t figure what it is except that you think people have reached a conclusion.

Don’t lump me in there. The individual must have done something because sure as hell the child did not complain to the authorities.

But like I said, you commented to. Could be another party caused injuries and it’s domestic. Let the Police sort it out. They are very good at that believe it or not.

Safe 24th and hug your children if you really care.

      • T Walker says:

        Yet another pointless comment…smh

      • Observing the Weak says:

We all are making assumptions that this may have happen, however, how many cases to you get that a 2 year old has been bodily harmed…… NEVER! There is no way this would have made it to court unless there was firm suspicion by the authorities that this was happening. Who likes to waste the courts time and money….besides the police. Someone must have reported it. A case worker must have been by to check on the situation. Like all these things must have played out before this ended up in court. Im sure a cop just didnt come over the young ladys house on a phone call and say, i heard your beating a child and here is a summons to appear in court. Assume all we want, cases like this are rare, and hardly unheard of, so for someone to drive it even this far. it must hold some weight. WEll we will see. Innocent or Guilty. I actuallly had a group disscussion on this and although everyone was curious of who reported the situation, we all agreed that they must have acted on concern and moral judgement to find out what really was going on.

My sister and I had this hanging on the wall outside our bedroom as kids. Whether or not the woman is guilty, it’s certainly appropriate considering the climate in Bermuda at the moment:

  9. Triangle Drifter says:

Can any better be expected? Children having children. No responsibility. We are seeing the results of 2nd & 3rd generations of children growing up without parents.
