Former Bermuda prosecutor Lloyd Rayney has formally pleaded not guilty in an Australian court to murdering his estranged wife Corryn Rayney.

Prior to moving to Australia, the couple lived in Bermuda in 2003 and 2004, with Mr Rayney employed by the Department of Public Prosecutions.

Mrs Rayney was last seen in August 2007, with her body discovered in a park days later. Mr Rayney was arrested by Australian police in December last year, and was later charged with the wilful murder of his wife.
