Hogges Draw 1-1 Against Brooklyn Knights

June 11, 2011

The Bermuda Hogges picked up their first point away from home last night [June 10], when they played to a 1-1 draw against Brooklyn Knights at the Metropolitan Oval in New Jersey.

Domico Coddington continues his fine form as he put the Hogges up 1-nil in the 21st minute of play. Going into the half the Hogges had a 1-nil lead against the home team.

However with only two minutes down in the second – half or in the 47th minute of play the Knights were awarded a penalty after Jaylon Bather was deemed to have fouled a Knight’s player. Knight’s made no mistake from the spot and leveled the score at 1-1. Meanwhile Coddington now has scored the Hogges last two goals in league play.

Hogges will now prepare for the New Jersey Express Sunday evening when they play at the NJIT Stadium.
