ISL Kicks Off Tomorrow With Quadruple Header
Kickoff for the 2011 Lindo’s ISL season will take place tomorrow [June 18] with an opening day quadruple header.
The Apex will play the Titans at 2 pm. The Kings play the Union at 4 pm, and the Arsenal battle the Royal at 6 pm. Saturday’s marquee matchup between the Knights and Storm is at 8 pm. One $10 ticket allows access to all four Lindo’s ISL games on Saturday.
The 2010 Lindo’s ISL champion Storm will receive their Championship rings before their match with the Knights. The first 50 kids thru the turnstile on Saturday will receive mini soccer balls. The dance group Split Personality will be performing.
In between all four games some of the best gospel singers on the island will be performing. Scheduled to appear on Saturday are Miss Tish, Big Snipes, Tricray Astwood, Missian, and the Elliott School Singing Teams. Brotha Richie of Hott 107.5’s Soulfood Mix, and Fyah B of Fyah Beat Unlimited will also be on hand.
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for $10 at all Lindo’s, and Sidekicks locations. They can also be purchased at the International Sports Store, the BFA, and the Pro Shop.
