During Saturday’s ISL quadruple header, Arsenal won the first overtime game of this 2011 ISL Season opening day with a 8-7 win over the Royal.

Cecoy Robinson scored twice for Arsenal, while Ralph Bean, Fabian Frankson, Cornell Castle, Shaki Pearman, Thomas Watson and Daz Simons all scored a goal each. Darrin Dowling scored a hat-trick for the Royal, while Jesse Seymour scored twice, Clay Darrell and Jahmeko Jennings scored a goal each.

The Arsenal got a shoot-out goal from Striker Cornell Castle to win the first Overtime game of the season. Royal midfielder Darrin Dowling tied the game at seven with a header goal in the box with :20 left in regulation.

Dowling’s goal gave him the hat trick. Six different players scored a goal for Arsenal. Arsenal Striker Cecoy Robinson notched two goals in the second half. Castle’s Shoot-out goal was the difference after Jemeiko Jennings hit the post, and Torri Davis was called for a five second violation in the shoot-out period.

The next ISL games take place on Saturday June 25th, with the Storm vs. Apex 4pm, the Knights vs. Titans at 6pm and Arsenal vs. Union 8pm. The full schedule for the ISL season is here.
