At 1:57pm the Police were seen to escort someone off the property and into an unmarked Police car. Immediately after that the child’s father was seen to rush to his car and drive after the vehicle. At 2:12pm the Police were seen to start departing the property.

The Police said the situation involved a mother and father, and that “the child was taken to a relevant Government agency with a view to put the matter before the public courts.”

The Police declined to release additional information at this time, citing sensitivity as it involves a child. The Police also confirmed that there have been no arrests made.

bye, you need to get ya child……….if not from the mother, definitely from Sheelagh Cooper!!!

  2. Terry says:

YesSa….you know …with comments like that I still wonder how Bermuda is still afloat.

Sheelagh Cooper has done so much for Bermuda, Children and society as a whole yet you make such a blatant comment like that.

Next you’ll be saying that the Clergy should not wear robes/clothing of white because it is racist.

I’ll save the breaking news about the US taking over until next month. And please don’t say it is not relevent. Forewarned.

    • all or nothing says:

Sorry to say Sheelagh Cooper is not the final authority in raising a family or children. She is but one voice in the world. Government institutions, are not the final authority on child welfare either. Sometimes the both of them do more harm then good in the whole of the matter. I hear many families have been destroyed by the actions/decisions of highly educated specialist. In my opinion, the further as a people, that we move away from a intimate relationship with the Father, we place our way of life in the hands of people that mean well, but eventually are found to not have a clue. What works in your family may not work in mine.
Everyone in a robe can’t be trusted. Does the robe make a man holy? Or has it only become a uniform for people that choose to wear them. The relationship and time spent with God alone, makes men holy. A lot of damage has been committed by those that wear robes. Good/Bad.

To quo9te, of all people, Judge Judy…”You’ve got to love your child more than you hate each other”.
Can you imagine how traumatizing this must have been for the child? If so…blame both parents.

    • A Child Deserves Both Parents says:

So, what should the father have done? MMMM? The authorities have not done their job, if they did the child would have been taken from the mother because she violated a court order. The father was greiving and wanted to see his child.

So many dead beat dads out here and her is one, who just wants to spend time with his child and the childs mother isnt mature enough to allow it to happen.

    Oops…*quote*…typing too fast!

  5. Are you serious says:

    u know this!!!!!!!

  6. Been There says:

Well I am going to look on the bright side if both parents are fighting for this child one of them shouild end up raising them and not the system
