Basketball: Bermuda Win in the Bahamas

Bermuda came from ten points down in the first quarter to defeat the Cayman Islands 54 – 48 in their fourth match of the Caribbean Men’s Senior Basketball Championships taking place in the Bahamas.

At the end of the first quarter Bermuda was down 23 – 13, but outscored Cayman in the second quarter 10-9.

Bermuda pulled back into the game and leveled the score at 37 – 37 at the end of the third quarter. Bermuda then closed out the match with a 17-11 run winning 54 – 48.

Only two players reached double figures – Jason Lowe and Sullivan Phillips. Dean Jones grabbed 11 rebounds, while Lowe added 4 steals to his ammo.
