Disturbance: 24 Year Old Man Hospitalized
Police responded to a report of a disturbance last night [July 12] in Pembroke. As a result a 24 year old man has been hospitalized.
A Police spokesman said, “Around 7pm on Tuesday, police attended a reported disturbance/assault on East Park Lane in Pembroke.”
“It appears that around 6:45pm that day two men were involved in an altercation in the area. The suspect brandished a bladed article and as a result the victim, a 24 year old man, was injured. The suspect and the victim are apparently known to each other.”
“Officers conducted a search of the vicinity for the suspect, however he was not located. The victim attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a hand injury. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
