Maybe if we Bermudians ,Government and all the churches got behind this issue and road fatalities with their funding with as much passion and debating as the same sex marraige referendum ,it might actually make a difference and even make it look like we actually care . Call it PESERVE SOCIETY .

    • Nanny Pat says:

Maybe if we Bermudians just stopped stabbing each other….

  5. Dockyard Lackey says:

How did they get knives into the ground with all that security? Oh, I know. When in entered the ground just after 2.00pm on Friday, along with a large amount of other people, the security staff were waving people through saying it was too hot to do a full check. I walked through the metal detector with a set of keys on my belt, and not a peep from the machine.
What is the point of having security check points if the staff cannot be bothered to do their jobs.

It takes a village to raise a child. The decisions we make today, create our tomorrow.

    • Toodle-oo says:

Here we go again . The tired old worn out ‘Village’ motto .
It worked 50+ years ago in Bermy but this is the ‘New Bermuda’.
I challenge you or anyone else to say something , speak up , or act the next time one of these out of control ‘children’ do anything and see what happens next .
You’ll be wishing you could relocate to another village.

      • Wahoo says:

A village? It takes two parents to raise a kid and if they cannot cope they should not have a kid. I ain’t raising your kid for you.

      • Grizz says:

@Toodle You can’t be serious? What are they warlords?! What ‘New Bermuda’? You leave me confused; Not everyone is scared of these children!! Grand Theft Auto Babies! That’s how I describe em; they think it’s some sort of damn game! I did relocate but it wasn’t hardly because of the ‘New Bermuda’ you speak of. You are giving these punks way too much credit!

        • Toodle-oo says:

I’m 100% serious ! I never said anything about being ‘scared’ of these idiots , that was your twist on it .
I said that an intervention by any outsider in the new Bermuda is not going to get the appreciation it was met with when I was a kid and people could ‘speak to’ (discipline) other people’s children .
You know , and then you’d get another set of licks when you got home ?
This indeed is ‘the New Bermuda’ and it’s all a part of the mess we’re in . How long ago did you leave ? Because if you’re confused it sure seems as though you’re out of touch .

        • Grizz says:

@toodle I only responded to what YOU said. You challenged people to speak up then it “seems” to imply if you do, there are consequences. If I misinterpreted what you said then that’s on me. And I am more in touch than you think…some of you SPEAK of this mess…while some of us actually live IN, AROUND and THROUGH it. I don’t think it’s a “new Bermuda”; We are part of an evolving world; we are not exempt from changes that the rest of the world goes through. People’s mindset has to change and people need to cut their children’s a**!!

There was security at the game… Someone needs to be fired.

  11. Bornb says:

CCTV comments n security comments are sounding stupid right now…. did you not read it happened in the male bathroom????!!!!! So you want cameras in a bathroom now….???? So you want people to be followed to the bathroom now and security stand outside the stalls now….??? No amount of security or cameras will stop violence…. they will just find someplace else to do it because THEY WANT TO DO IT!!!! Argh u people get tiring with all the blaming…

  12. Terry says:

    7.30pm and 9.45pm.

    Game was well over.

Guess no one knows when it happened. And I am sure they did not stay in the bathroom all that time.
Something smells like urine and drunks.
