July 4th Fireworks Over Elbow Beach

Yesterday evening [July 4] fireworks lit up the night sky over the Paget area, and scores of people gathered on Elbow Beach to watch the sparking display.

The fireworks marked U.S  Independence Day – also known as the Fourth of July – a holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 – a decision which granted the USA  independence from Great Britain.
