Rego Wins U/14 Tennis Champs In Bahamas
Bermudian tennis player Chris Rego was crowned the Junkanoo Bowl Boy’s Under 14 Singles Champion following his straight sets win in the final.
The Junkanoo Bowl is part of the Confederation of Tennis Central America and the Caribbean [COTECC] Junior Circuit which took place in the Bahamas.
Unseeded Rego took on Michael Johnson from the Bahamas, Rego defeated him 6-3, 6-3. Rego then took on Dylan Walker also from the Bahamas in the Semi-Finals defeating him in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
Rego then took on Jorge Nunez from Mexico in the Final, Rego won the first set 7-5, he then won the second set 6-0 to lift the Under 14 Title.
