Only four days before the 2011 Cup Match Classic, St.George’s met up with Somerset at the Colts Cup Match held at the Wellington Oval in St. George’s today [July 24], with St. George’s walking away with the victory.
Colts Cup Match is an annual event traditionally held around the same time as the ‘real’ Cup Match, and includes younger players who have not yet made an appearance in the Cup Match Classic.

Both Colts teams top scorers today are reserves for their respective teams this year. Somerset Cup Match reserve Tre Manders ended with 76, while Cup Match reserve Onias Bascome was the top scorer for St.George’s with 76.
