Today [July 24] at the Sea Breeze Oval, Cleveland County beat Flatt’s Victoria by 7 wickets [Flatt’s Victoria 133 Cleveland County 137/3].
Flatt’s Victoria won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled all out for 133, Reggie Baker was the top scorer with 31, while Nelson Bascome added 25 not out. Kioshi Trott led the Cleveland County bowling attack with figures of 4-0-23-3.
In reply Cleveland County scored 137/3, Makai Young was the top scorer with 50 not out, while Glenn Blakeney scored 30. Regino Smith had bowling figures of 4-0-24-1 for Flatt’s Victoria.
Other games were also played today which saw St. David’s win by 8 wickets [Warwick Workmen’s 52/7 St. David’s Cricket Club 56/2] at the St. John’s Field, while the Leg Trappers won by 6 wickets [Western Stars 104/8 Leg Trappers 106/4] n the second match at St. John’s Field.
