13 Local Sailors Competing In Canada
Thirteen Bermuda Optimist Sailors continued taking part in the Canadian National Optimist Championships in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia.
Sailing in the 85 Boat Fleet Championship Class on Day Two Michael Wollmann continues to lead the Bermuda Fleet he moved up three places from 9th to 6th with 43 points, Wollmann finished 4th in the first race, then finished 43rd in the second, before winning the final race of the day, he was able to throw out the 43rd place race.
Ceci Wollmann also moved up the standings from 12th to 8th place overall with 53 points, she finished 2nd in the first race and 13th in the second before finishing 17th in the third. Campbell Patton finished Day Two in 21st with 104 points.
Benn Smith has 118 points and is in 23rd place, while James Amaral ended the day in 25th with 125 points, Alice Reeves is in 34th with 185 points, while Peter Dill is in 36th with 192 points.
Christian Chin-Gurret is in 38th with 202 points, with Matilda Nicholls finishing in 45th place with 251 points. Kieran C. C. Swann is in 55th with 325 points, George William J. Buckley has 344 points and is in 61st, while Camilla Chin-Gurret is in 62nd with 345 points and Macy Aicardi finished the day in 64th with 348 points.
