Upcoming: St George’s ‘Art in the Park’

Sponsored by the Corporation of St. George’s, local artists, jewellery makers, toy makers, musicians will be exhibiting and selling their arts and crafts at ‘Art in the Park’ from 11am until 3pm on Sunday, August 21st at Somers’ Gardens, St. George’s.

The artists include – but are not limited to – Jill Amos Raine, Anne Kermode, Tricia Walters, Chris Dawson, Heidi Cowan, Emma Ingham, Lexy Correia, Rene Hill, Doris Wade, Christopher Grimes, Martin Morris, Walter Brown JR, Suzanne Holtzhauser, Ami Zanders, Amba Smith, Vanese Flood Gordon, Sonya Flood, Robyn Bardget and Heather Brangman. Over 25 artists and craftsmen have signed up to participate.

The public is invited to stroll through the gardens and stop by and visit the various stalls, meet the artists and maybe even sit for a quick portrait by Emma Ingham.

From 11am onwards, a master kite maker will demonstrate how to make a traditional Bermuda kite. There will also be light refreshments on sale and music provided by the Corporation of St. George. In case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, August 28th.
