Five Burglaries Yesterday
Yesterday [Sept.23] there were five burglaries reported throughout three parishes; Devonshire, Hamilton parish and St. George’s with a quantity of electronics and jewelry were taken.
A police spokesperson said, “The public is reminded to make sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended.”
“We also continue to recommend that all residents secure their valuables out of sight, record serial numbers of all items and take pictures of their possessions in particular electronic equipment and items of jewelry – so that if they are stolen and later recovered, there is an accurate way of identifying them.”
“Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods to the Police by contacting 295-0011.”
Knowing which neighbourhoods would be a help.
It’ll cost you $100 for that report from the police.
