Ophelia Becomes 15th Named Storm
Tropical Storm Ophelia emerges as the 15th named storm of the 2011 North Atlantic hurricane season. According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, it is presently carrying maximum sustained winds of 65mph, and is expected to weaken in coming days
The Bermuda Weather Service said Tropical Storm Ophelia is not a threat to Bermuda at this time, and its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs is forecast to be 805 nm to the south southeast at 6am on Sunday September 25th.
