Playing today [Sept.24] at the National Sports Center, Southampton Rangers won over Leg Trappers by 24 runs; Southampton Rangers 120/8 Leg Trappers 96.
Leg Trappers won the toss and elected to field, Southampton Rangers scored 120/8 in their allotted 20 overs with Janeiro Tucker the top scorer with 51 not out, while both Gerald Simons and Dion Stovell added 15. Dave Pringle had bowling figures of 4-0-21-2, while Johann Oosthuizen bowled 4-0-15-2.
In reply Leg Trappers were bowled all out for 96, Jordache Rawson was their top scorer with 50, while Dwayne “Sluggo” Leverock was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 3-1-10-4, while Stovell bowled 4-2-10-2.
