Squash: Franklin v Foster In Opening Round
Next week sees the start of the Bermuda BluePrinting Team Squash Championships 2011, now in its 2nd year. We have over 60 players competing in 16 teams over 4 days for the title of Bermuda BluePrinting Team Champions.
Play starts on Wednesday 14th September with round one and features 8 matches between the teams of 3 players. The highlight being the intriguing match up between seven time Bermuda National Champion Patrick Foster against double Bermuda National Junior Champion, 19 year old, Micah Franklin.
Franklin having just returned for a summer competing at the Caribbean Championships and World Championships will be looking to repeat his victory over Foster in May’s World Distributors Championships. The highly anticipated match should produce some scintillating squash in front of a packed local crowd.
The event is free watch. Matches start from 6pm and are on nightly from Wednesday to Saturday at the BSRA, 111 Middle Rd, Devonshire.
