Videos: 2011 Hurricane Fabian Memorial Ride

Close to 100 people turned out for the 8th Annual Remembrance Ride for the victims of Hurricane Fabian this past weekend. The ride is organised by the September 5th Foundation, which raises funds for the education of the children whose parents and grandparents were lost during the tragic events of Hurricane Fabian.

Eight years ago four people who were swept from the Causeway by powerful storm; Police Constable Stephen Symons, Police Constable Nicole O’Connor, Station Duty Officer Gladys Saunders and Manuel Pacheco. The initial beneficiaries of the Foundation’s efforts are the surviving children and grand-children of the victims, Zen-Paul Pacheco, Stephen Symons Jr., Kayuntae and Nazyia Saunders.
