Catlin Named Entrepreneur Of The Year
Stephen Catlin, the founder and CEO of the Bermuda-based Catlin Group, has won the Ernst & Young’s 2011 ‘UK Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award.
The UK Entrepreneur of the Year competition judges said that Mr Catlin’s drive and vision helped put the Catlin Group in a “premier position in a sector where the UK continues to lead the world.”
Catlin Underwriting Agencies was founded as a Lloyd’s underwriting agency in 1984 with two employees. Today, Catlin has more than 1,600 employees and operates from more than 50 offices in 20 countries.
