Health Minister Receives Flu Vaccine

October 26, 2011

This week the Department of Health began offering influenza immunization in the community through their annual programme “The Flu Express”.

The Flu Express will enable people to drive to the designated sites and receive the flu vaccine while waiting in their car without getting out. The idea is that this will make it easier for some people to access the vaccine.

Health Minister Zane DeSilva attended the Warwick Flu Express site at 70 Middle Road [under the Rubber Tree] earlier today [Oct.26] to receive his flu injection. The Minister is pictured above with Department of Health nurses Tanzania Guyton (left ) and Roxanne Kipps-Jackson receiving his flu injection.
