Swimming: Sharks Sprint Meet Results
The first swim meet of the 2011/12 season took place at the BASA Pool yesterday [Oct.8], and the Sharks Sprint Meet saw three new records set in early action.
In the Girls 8 and under 200 Short Course Freestyle Relay, the Sharks team of Jessica Bruyon, Logan Watson-Brown, Holly Bruton and Brynn Telenko set a new record of 2:55.58.
Emma Harvey, Lizzie Thresh, Alyssa Paynter and Ashley Irby set a new record in the Girls 9 – 10 – 200 Short Course Freestyle Relay clocking 2:21.28 representing Harbour.
The Sharks team made up of D’Andra Seymour, Brittany Siddle, Nina Wehmeyer and Madelyn Moore also set a new record in the Girls 11 – 12 – 200 Short Course Freestyle Relay with a time of 2:12.35.
