Upcoming: Charity Swim-A-Thon
Sunday, October 16th, marks the 21st year of the Annual Round the Sound Charity Swim-A-Thon. Organisers said, “We are very excited that we have over 145 overseas entries to date and hope to top last year’s record of 301 swimmers”.
This year’s charity is the Sunshine League. The swim starts at the Aquarium at 10am, where swimmers will begin their 10k swim. The swim continues clockwise around the Harrington Sound, where swimmers can do a 7.25k, 4k, 2k or .08 swim depending on their level.
This event is organized by the Dolphin Swim Team and Bermuda Open Water Swimmers. Entries can be found online at www.raceday.bm, www.roundthesound.bm , at the Sportseller in Washington Mall or International Imports on Par-La-Ville Road. Late entries are accepted until 5pm, 14th October.
