The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club will be hosting its penaultimate round of the 2011 National Championship series on Sunday, October 9, 2011.

A statement issued by the Club said, “As the 2011 season comes to a close racing actions is heating up as the GP125 Championship title battle tightens up between Jordan Fletcher and Bruce Degrilla Jr. Bruce has been in dominant form this year though missing out on several round due to other contractual obligations.

“This has left Jordan with a 25 point lead over Bruce heading into the final rounds. Will Bruce be able to retain his championship crown or will Jordan deny Bruce of another GP125 championship and take the crown in his rookie season?!

“Caisey and his son Jazari Caisey have a form grip on their respective championships in the Superbike and GP80 championships. Ricardo Wade has dominated the scooter class this season whilst Tamia Place is defending her championship crown in fine form against rival Coolridge Fubler Jr in the mini bike class.

“Keanu Wilson has an uphill battle as he has lost the championship lead to Peter Terceira in the Supermoto class whilst Kewuan Gilbert has dominated the Formula class all season long.

“Racing action continues on October 9th at the Bermuda Motorsports Park in Southside, St. Davids. The event starts at 1:00PM sharp! (Gates open at 12 noon).Admission: Adults: $10. Children Under 12 & Seniors Over 65: Free.”
