New Records Set At Sharks Swim Meet
The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association have confirmed the following New Short Course Records were set at the Sharks Sprint Meet on October 08th, 2011.
Jessica Bruton, Holly Bruton, Brynn Telenko and Logan Watson-Brown are the Female 8 and under – 4 x 50m Medley Relay Record Holders after clocking 3:22.61, the previous record of 3:45.97 was set on November 07th, 2009 by Ashley Irby, Emma Harvey, Alyssa Paynter and L. Grandisson.
There was a new Female 8 and under – 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay Record set of 2:55.53 by Bruton, Watson-Brown, Bruton and Telenko. They broke the previous record of 2:56.65 they set on November 07th, 2009.
Finn Moseley, Jack Thorpe, Jack Harvey and Nick Pilgrim are the confirmed Male 8 and under – 4 x 50m Medley Relay Record Holders after clocking a time of 3:50.03, the previous record of 4:01.70 was set on April 30th, 2011 by Matthew Nagel, Thorpe, Jayson Hassell and Harvey.
The Female 9 – 10 years – 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay Record Holders with a time of 2:21.28 are Emma Harvey, Lizzie Thresh, Alyssa Paynter and Ashley Irby, the previous record of 2:23.96 was set on June 12th, 2011 by Paynter, Harvey, Lynsey Palmer and Irby.
Jude Moseley, Myles Packwood, Alex Bordage and Alex Pilgrim are the Male 9 – 10 year old – 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay Record Holders with a new time of 2:31.51, Jacob Robb, Jessie Washington, Aaron Rego and Mitch Gariepy were the previous record holders with a time of 2:34.27 which was set on November 07th, 2009.
The new Female 11 – 12 year old Record in the – 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay with a time of 2:12.35 is held by D’Andra Seymour, Brittany Siddle, Nina Wehmeyer and Madelyn Moore, the previous record of 2:14.53 was set on June 13th, 2010 by Somer Froud, Erica Hawley, K. Lightbourne and E. Haydon.
The final Record set was by Shannon Bothelho, Justin Ferreira, Ryan Robb and Philip Hagen during the Male 13 – 14 year old – 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay when they clocked 2:04.15, the previous record of 2:04.81 was set on May 28th, 2011 by Miles Cave, Cathal Rynne, Liam Peniston and Denis Pasagic.
