Frelick Joins Aspen US Insurance
Aspen US Insurance announced — an American subsidiary of Bermuda’s Aspen Insurance Holdings — today [Dec. 16] named Stefanie Frelick, Senior Vice President of Marketing effective January 3, 2012.
She will be based in New York and her responsibilities will include marketing strategy, business development strategy, broker/client communications, sales campaigns, US Insurance branding, advertising, executive communications, and event marketing.
“We are pleased Stefanie is joining the Aspen US Insurance team to lead our marketing efforts to build our US Insurance brand and support our business development,” said Robert Rheel, Executive Vice President Sales, Distribution, and Marketing. “She will be able to leverage her considerable expertise in property/casualty marketing and position Aspen US Insurance as a leading specialty underwriting company in the industry.”
Ms Frelick was most recently Vice President, Corporate Marketing & Communications at Arch Insurance Group where she managed the marketing and communications functions. Before joining Arch, Ms. Frelick was at Mastercard as a VP/Business Leader in global customer marketing.
She has 23 years of experience in insurance marketing & communications. Her career in the property/casualty arena began at AIG in 1993 where she was Director of the Insurance Services marketing communications department. She joined American Re-Insurance Company in 1999, as Vice President, Marketing, where she was responsible for marketing and communications in both the US and internationally. She also served as a member of the strategic planning team.
Prior to this she spent eight years in the health insurance segment with Blue Cross Blue Shield / Wellpoint and held the position from 2003-2005 of Director, Marketing & Advertising with responsibility for the marketing and communications team as well as strategic planning for large group sales.
Ms Frelick has a BA in English from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently an MBA candidate at Fordham University in Manhattan.
