Paving: Crow Lane Road Closure

December 4, 2011

Today [Dec.4] the Ministry of Public Works will be closing the out bound lane of Crow Lane to traffic in order to carry out paving works.

This will affect the areas between Spurling Hill and Lane Hill exiting the City of Hamilton from 7am – 7pm. Upon completion of the paving and road markings, the road will be re-opened.

During this time, the centre lane going into the City of Hamilton will be used as an out-bound lane. All other lanes will not be affected by the paving.

Along with the closed lane, there will be no parking along the out bound lane from the junction of Spurling Hill to the junction of Lane Hill from 7am – 7pm on Sunday December 4.

There will also be no parking on Lane Hill from Crow Lane to the junction with Cavendish Road during the same day and times.

A statement issued said, “The Ministry of Public Works apologises for any inconvenience the lane closure may cause and request that motorists cooperate with the traffic control devices in place.”
